1. Who operates this website
MindTab is a pre-incorporation software business project operated by Marco Gudiño in Galway, Ireland. For this public corporate website, Marco Gudiño is the data controller unless a later incorporated MindTab entity is configured and published.
This policy covers visitors to mindtab.ie, people who submit enquiries, demo requests, pilot applications or onboarding requests, and prospective customers. It is not the complete privacy agreement for hotel staff, hotel guests or live users of MindTab PMS, MindTab POS or MindTab Guests.
2. Data we collect
Information you actively provide may include your name, work email, property or company name, property type, room or bed count, request type and optional notes. The demo modal and the contact page both send this information to the website API when submitted.
Technical data may include IP address, browser and device information, request headers, timestamps and security logs created by the hosting platform or server runtime. Consent choices are stored in localStorage under mindtab_consent_v1.
Optional third-party data is collected only if you allow or activate embedded YouTube media. No analytics, advertising pixel, CAPTCHA, map, chat widget or newsletter integration was found in the corporate website source.

4. Forms and follow-up
The demo modal requires name, work email and property name. It may also collect property type, room or bed count, request type and notes. Submitting a request does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated marketing communications and no pre-ticked marketing consent is used.
When the API endpoint is configured with RESEND_API_KEY, submissions are sent through Resend to mindtabpms@gmail.com and an acknowledgement may be sent from onboarding@mindtab.ie. In local development, a missing key simulates success without sending email; in production, a missing key returns an honest error instead of a fake confirmation.
5. Service providers and transfers
Verified providers from the code are Resend for lead email delivery and Google / YouTube for optional video embeds. The code also depends on the production hosting/runtime provider, but the provider and region were not confirmed in this repository. These providers may process data outside the EEA; appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses should be confirmed with each provider before relying on them.
6. Retention
Exact retention periods were not confirmed in the repository. MindTab should keep enquiry and demo data only while needed to respond, manage prospective-customer discussions, maintain security, meet legal obligations or handle disputes. Consent records remain in browser storage until replaced, expired after the configured renewal period, withdrawn or cleared by the visitor.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent and avoid certain solely automated decisions. These rights are not absolute and depend on the context. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

8. Security, children and updates
MindTab uses proportionate technical and organisational measures for the public website, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. This website is intended for hospitality businesses and is not directed at children. Updates to this policy will be published on this page with the last-updated date above.
